Vedic Astrology, The Lunar Mansions And Transpersonal Psychology
An Interview with Dennis M. Harness, Ph.D.
Further pursuing the topic of Vedic Astrology, I had the good fortune to conduct an interview with Dennis Harness recently and discuss his personal journey, professional endeavors, and his study in the field of Vedic Astrology.
Dennis boasts over three decades of experience delving into both Eastern and Western astrological practices, including interpreting birth charts, assessing relationship compatibility through synastry, addressing specific questions using Prashna techniques, and exploring the influence of Astrocartography, under the tutelage of a number of renowned astrologers.
As an original member of the American Council of Vedic Astrology, Dennis also took on the role of president at the American College of Vedic Astrology (ACVA) in Sedona, Arizona, where he led from 1999 to 2009.
Dennis authored a significant work, 'The Nakshatras: The Lunar Mansions of Vedic Astrology,' published in 1999, which remains a sought-after resource among Vedic Astrology students. Published by Lotus Press, 'The Nakshatras' stands out as one of the seminal texts exploring the profound insights of these critical, yet sometimes neglected, components of Vedic Astrology.
